Earlier this year, Clinch County was approached by Mr. Greer Smith, with Green Line Rates about possible energy savings on our power bills at no costs to the county to see if our meters were on the most economical rate offered. The Board of Commissioners gave him approval and his findings revealed that one of our buildings, which costs the county the most in power each month, was on the incorrect rates.
The commission decided to contract with Green Line Rates and has experienced more savings than we ever expected! Our first month’s bill was cut in half as a result of our new rate using Green Line Rates. I would highly recommend that you have your power bills analyzed by an independent group.
